IS YOUR MUSIC COPYRIGHTED?
Yes. The lyrics are copyrighted with the U.S. Copyright office and the entire sound recording is registered with the U.S. Copyright office.
DO YOU LICENSE THE LYRICS INDEPENDENTLY OF THE SOUND RECORDING?
Yes. I love to see how other artists re-imagine my lyrics.
IF I LICENSED YOUR LYRICS, WILL YOU REMOVE YOUR VERSION OF THE SONG FOR SALE?

If I LICENSE THE SOUND RECORDING, DO YOU ALLOW FOR SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE TRACK?
Yes. The sound recordings on this site are my expressions of the lyrics. Licensees are welcomed to re-imagine the lyrics. Terms for changes such as remixes to the existing sound recordings are negotiable. Contact us using the form on the Contact page or at Licensing@yemaelecta.com.
CAN I ACQUIRE A LICENSE FOR THE USE OF THE INSTRUMENTAL TRACK ONLY?
While the lyrics are written by me and the sound recordings as a whole are registered with the U.S. Copyright office, the instrumentals and vocalizations are generated in significant part or whole using AI assisted technology. Please consider how you want to use the instrumental and any laws or regulations around it. If you would like to discuss uses for the instrumental track, contact us using the form on the Contact page or at Licensing@yemaelecta.com.

DO YOU WORK AS A SONGWRITER FOR HIRE?

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE TO WRITE HOOKS AND FULL SONGS?
Prices vary by project and there maybe room for negotiation. Typically, my prices start at USD $150.

I hear you! The AI assisted tracks began as a “proof of concept” project. When I write, my lyrics may usually be adapted to more than one genre – they could be used in a deep R&B or a dope EDM track. The lyrics were initially generated in diverse instrumental styles to show their versatility. However, people began asking me if they could purchase, download, or stream their favorite versions. Those are the versions of the songs for sale on the site.
